Donation FAQ’s
“Are my donations tax deductible?”
Lydia Place is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and your donations are tax deductible to the extent allowable by the law.
“What is a Donation Partner?”
The Donation Partner Program is a vital resource for Lydia Place families as it allows us to to provide quicker access to a wider range we do not have the capacity to store or transport. More importantly, it gives our clients a sense of ownership and independence by giving them the option to choose items they want and need to make their new house a home.
“I want my items to go to the moms and kids at the Gladstone House.”
We are grateful our beloved Gladstone House, and the families living there are so treasured by our community! But, did you know Lydia Place serves up to 150 families all over Whatcom County? That’s A LOT of kiddos! By delivering your donations to one of partnering locations, it not only saves our case managers time, it also allows us to serve more families helps make sure your items are getting to the families who need them the most.
“The item I wish to donate isn’t listed on this page.”
No worries! Our agency and family needs are consistently changing. It never hurts to contact us if you have a donation that isn’t listed here. You can reach us at 360.671.7663 or email us at [email protected]
