2022 End of Year Newsletter
It’s here! This year’s End of Year Newsletter showcases the impact you’ve made through your support and provides an inside look into the challenges facing families in Whatcom County. Full of stories, statistics, and even interactive activities, we’re confident you’ll learn something new, have your heart touched, and be inspired.
How the Housing System Works
In our first micro-series, How the Housing System Works, Lydia Place Executive Director, Emily O’Connor breaks down elements of Whatcom County’s complex, and often confusing, housing system.
Housing Hero Monthly Giving Program
For as little as $5 per month, your contribution helps Lydia Place continue to maintain housing stability, mental health services, and parenting support to hundreds of families who are being severely impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. Becoming a Housing Hero today helps us continue to be able to say “Yes” to our neighbors in need of housing and support.
Heart House
Coming soon to Lydia Place! Heart House will add 11 units of desperately needed low-income housing for mothers and their children experiencing homelessness, a licensed childcare facility located on the ground floor, and the full force of Lydia Place supportive programs on-site.
